Synopsis
After failing his college entrance exams twice, Minato Sahashi is hit — literally — by Musubi, a beautiful girl who falls from the sky. She is a Sekirei, one of 108 superpowered beings released into Tokyo by the pharmaceutical conglomerate MBI to fight in the Sekirei Plan, a battle royale where each Sekirei must bond with a human Ashikabi through a kiss to unlock her full power. Minato becomes Musubi's Ashikabi and soon wings additional Sekirei — the water-wielder Tsukiumi, lightning user Hikari's twin Hibiki, and the cloth fighter Uzume — while navigating forced eliminations orchestrated by MBI's eccentric chairman Minaka Hiroto.
