Princess Sara Da Odin and her knight Livia Do Udis flee the collapsing Ofim Empire through a portal to modern Japan, but arrive separately. Sousuke Kaburaya, a small-time detective, takes Sara in after she casts spells in public and causes a scene; Livia finds herself homeless on the streets of Tokyo. As Sara discovers smartphones, manga, and convenience stores, she becomes Sousuke's assistant while Livia improvises her way through life on the street.
