Kanade Amakusa suffers from "Absolute Choices," a curse that forces him to pick between two or three absurd options whenever they flash into his mind. Refuse, and a splitting headache locks him in place. The choices wreck his reputation at school until the day one of them drops a girl named Chocolat out of the sky and into his life. Sent by a self-proclaimed God, she announces that Kanade can break the curse by completing a set of missions, though she has conveniently forgotten every detail of how.
