Synopsis
In 1955 Japan, six teenage boys arrive at the Shōnan Special Reform School and are assigned to Compound Two, Cell Six, where senior inmate Sakuragi Rokurouta — an aspiring boxer the others call Anchan — takes them under his wing. Led by Mario Minakami, the newcomers endure beatings from a sadistic guard and a corrupt doctor while Anchan teaches them to survive through solidarity. Together, the seven inmates form a pact to meet again on the outside once they serve their sentences.
