坂道のアポロン

Kaoru Nishimi, an introverted honor student who has spent his life transferring between schools, arrives in 1966 Kyushu to live with relatives. At his new school he meets Sentarō Kawabuchi, a rough-mannered classmate who plays drums in the basement of the Mukae family record shop, and class representative Ritsuko Mukae. Kaoru's classical piano training collides with Sentarō's love of jazz, and the basement jam sessions pull all three closer together.
