Waiting in the Summer

Kaito Kirishima, an amateur filmmaker in a small town, survives a mysterious nighttime explosion he cannot remember. The next day, a transfer student named Ichika Takatsuki arrives, and Kaito's friend group recruits her to star in their summer film project. As the group shoots scenes around town, Kaito and Ichika grow closer — but Ichika carries a secret tied to the explosion and to a world far beyond their quiet countryside.
