Synopsis
Kazunari Usa, a high school freshman finally living on his own, moves into the Kawai Complex boarding house only to find Ritsu Kawai — a quiet, book-obsessed upperclassman he admires — already lives there. The other tenants are less calming: his roommate Shirosaki is a novelist with masochistic tendencies, Mayumi is an office worker on a post-breakup spiral, and Sayaka is a college student who enjoys stirring up trouble. Usa navigates daily life at the boarding house while trying to get closer to the perpetually absorbed Ritsu.
