Kinji Tohyama attends Tokyo Butei High, a school that trains armed detectives called Butei, where he tries to keep a low profile despite hiding Hysteria Savant Syndrome — a condition that dramatically boosts his abilities under emotional stress. After a bomb attack on his way to school, the twin-pistol-wielding S-Rank Butei Aria H. Kanzaki saves him and demands he become her partner to help clear her mother of false criminal charges.
