Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno are thrown into an alternate reality by the masked Akatsuki leader Tobi, who wants the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed inside Naruto. In this mirror version of Konoha, Naruto's parents Minato and Kushina are alive and every friend's personality is inverted, so the life Naruto always wanted is suddenly real, but staying means letting Tobi extract the fox. This theatrical film sits within the Naruto Shippuden timeline as a standalone story.
