Synopsis
Yukio "Koyuki" Tanaka, a bored fourteen-year-old drifting through middle school, rescues a strange-looking dog named Beck and meets its owner Ryusuke Minami, a guitarist just back from New York with plans to start a band. Ryusuke teaches Koyuki guitar, and as the band BECK takes shape around them — with bassist Taira, drummer Saku, and rapper Chiba — Koyuki discovers he has a voice that stops crowds cold.
