Midori Asakusa has spent years sketching imaginary worlds in her notebooks but has never made a single animation. At Shibahama High, she teams up with Tsubame Mizusaki, a model who would rather draw character movement than pose for cameras, and Sayaka Kanamori, a profit-minded schemer who sees money in Midori's talent. Together the three found the Eizouken — Motion Picture Research Club — and throw themselves into producing their first anime short.
