Leo Demonheart, the hero who single-handedly defeated the Demon Army, finds himself shunned by the very humans he saved. Exiled and purposeless, he disguises himself and applies for a job at the castle of Demon Queen Echidna, whose forces are in shambles after their defeat. Leo begins rebuilding the army from the inside, fixing logistics, training soldiers and solving staffing shortages, while hiding the fact that he is the hero who destroyed them in the first place.
