Yō Satō, a broke high school student, reaches for a half-priced bento box at the supermarket and is promptly knocked unconscious by a mob of fellow bargain hunters. He discovers that every night, once the store clerk slaps the half-off stickers on unsold bento, an all-out brawl erupts among regulars who fight by an unwritten code of honor. Sen Yarizui, a top-ranked fighter known as the Ice Witch and president of the Half-Priced Food Lovers Club, takes him under her wing.
