Tenma Tsukamoto, a cheerful second-year at Yagami High, cannot get a confession out to her classmate Oji Karasuma, a boy who barely reacts to anything except curry. Delinquent Kenji Harima starts showing up to class only because he has fallen for Tenma, and every attempt to tell her collapses before it starts, including the manga he draws to say it for him. Class 2-C runs on the misunderstandings the two of them leave behind.
