Tsumiki Miniwa has a hopeless crush on her classmate Io Otonashi, a calm, kindhearted boy who never seems to notice her feelings — though he treats her more gently than anyone else. Together with their friends Mayoi Katase, Sakaki Inui, and the easily flustered Hime Haruno, they drift through high school days filled with cooking contests, snowball fights, and low-stakes mischief at Nekoge Prefectural High.
