Aya, a gyaru high school student with a secret love of rock music, becomes fixated on the cool, unisex-dressed figure working the counter at a local record shop. When she finally tracks down who she has been daydreaming about, she discovers it is Mitsuki Koga — her soft-spoken, bespectacled classmate, who wears unisex work clothes and a face mask at the shop to keep her school life separate from her part-time job.
