This television special recaps Kazuto "Kirito" Kirigaya's run through Sword Art Online and ALfheim Online, framed around a day at the SAO Survivor School where Asuna, Lisbeth, Silica, and Leafa practice swimming together. The final act adds an original quest: the group dives into ALfheim Online's Undersea Temple so the AI Yui can finally see a whale. It is a supplementary special sitting between the first season and the Phantom Bullet arc.
