Yuu Haruna, a high-school loner who communicates almost exclusively through Twitter, collides — literally — with the impulsive Fuuka Akitsuki, who smashes his phone on the spot after mistaking him for a creep. Despite the rough start, Fuuka pulls Yuu into forming a band called The Fallen Moon with classmates Makoto Mikasa, Kazuya Nachi, and Sara Iwami. Their momentum builds just as Yuu's childhood friend Koyuki Hinashi, now a popular idol, re-enters his life and complicates things between him and Fuuka.
