Hikaru Kusakabe, a carefree guitarist in a rock band at an all-boys high school, notices that honor student Rihito Sajou cannot get the class chorus song right during rehearsals. He offers to coach Sajou after school, and what begins as casual singing practice becomes something neither boy expected — an awkward, tentative first romance between two second-years with little in common beyond the music room where they keep meeting.
