Synopsis
A training trip leaves teenage martial artist Ranma Saotome with a curse from China's Jusenkyo springs: cold water turns him into a girl, hot water turns him back. His father Genma drops him at the Tendo dojo in Tokyo, where Ranma is informed he is engaged to one of master Soun Tendo's three daughters — the temperamental and equally martial Akane. School life, training, and a parade of rival suitors and challengers proceed from there, with the curse complicating every step.
