Umaru Doma keeps living two lives out of her brother Taihei's small apartment. At school she is the picture-perfect honor student everyone admires; the moment the front door shuts behind her she pulls on a hamster hoodie and turns into a sluggish gremlin who runs on chips, cola and video games. This second season widens the lens past the apartment, sending Umaru out more often with Nana Ebina, her self-declared rival Sylphynford Tachibana and the doting Kirie Motoba, while Taihei keeps the household running around the chaos.
