Touma Kamijou returns to Academy City as the gap between the magic and science sides closes into open conflict. Index is still under his roof and his right-hand Imagine Breaker still cancels anything it touches. That arm is what draws in God's Right Seat, a secret faction of the Roman Catholic Church whose leader Fiamma of the Right has plans for it. This third TV season picks up directly from the previous one and covers the World War III arc.
