Synopsis
Takashi Natsume continues to track down the youkai whose names his grandmother Reiko bound into the Book of Friends, returning each name one at a time with Nyanko-sensei at his side. This third season settles him deeper into the rural town he now calls home, where classmates Tanuma and Taki anchor his human life and recurring spirits like the fox child Kogitsune drift back in for new requests. Across episodic encounters he keeps choosing both the spirit world and the people around him rather than picking one.
