Yui 'Cherry' Sakura, a quiet boy who speaks mostly through haiku he scribbles on his phone, is spending his summer volunteering at the elder-care center inside his town's Nouvelle shopping mall. He collides — literally — with Yuki, an online influencer known as Smile who keeps a face mask on at all times to hide her braces, and she ends up working alongside him at the same center. Between shifts, the two start helping Fujiyama, a resident whose memory is fading, search the mall for a vinyl record he made decades earlier.
