Second-year high schooler Shoichi Kamita is paralyzed by college-entrance pressure and unsure what he wants out of life when his classmate Ikuo drags him along to a summer study camp. There he reconnects with the irrepressible Hikari Tsuneki, the first of three classmates — Hikari, Toru Miyamae and Kyoko Tono — whose self-contained four-episode arcs reset around him. This original anime is a spiritual successor to Amagami, set in the same school nine years later.
