College junior Shinichi Sakurai is back on campus after a summer of being trailed everywhere by his loud underclassman Hana Uzaki, and her teasing about his lonely habits has not let up. Their friends and families still cannot work out why the two are not officially a couple, and Hana catches herself counting the two years left before Shinichi graduates. Hana's parents, the regulars at the Asai family café where Shinichi works part-time, and Akihiko Asai keep nudging the pair from the sidelines. This second season picks up directly after the first.
