The Straw Hat Pirates dock at Gran Tesoro, a sovereign floating city of casinos and gold ruled by the entertainment-empire boss Gild Tesoro. Drawn in by the concierge Baccarat's VIP welcome, Luffy and his crew clean out the tables, until Baccarat's Devil Fruit strips Luffy of his luck and Tesoro takes Zoro hostage against a debt he gives them one day to repay. With the help of Nami's old acquaintance Carina, the Straw Hats start mapping a heist on the city's gold vault as the deadline closes in. This One Piece feature film stands apart from the TV series' arcs.
