Myne joins the temple as a blue-robed apprentice shrine maiden, the only path that lets a commoner offer the temple her unusually large mana supply in exchange for a cure for her mana-disorder and access to its library. Under the watch of the cool, reform-minded High Priest Ferdinand, she takes over the orphanage director's quarters and quickly discovers the orphans there are starving while the High Bishop looks away. This second season picks up directly from the first and follows Myne's new double life as a poor merchant's daughter at home and a noble-ranked apprentice at the temple.
