Yuuta Iridatsu, a high schooler who lives at the rundown Korai House apartment block with four young women — idol Mikatan Narugino, shut-in Ito Hikiotani, inventor Meika Daihatsu and writer Lovera Chichibu — is knocked out of his body during a bus hijacking and left drifting as a ghost. Guided by a self-styled cat spirit named Chiranosuke, he learns one rule of the afterlife the hard way: if he sees a girl's underwear twice in a row, a meteor will wipe out the planet.
