Yuuta Iridatsu lives at the rundown Korai House apartment block with four young women: idol Mikatan Narugino, shut-in Ito Hikiotani, inventor Meika Daihatsu and writer Lovera Chichibu. A bus hijacking knocks him out of his body and leaves him drifting through the building as a ghost. A self-styled cat spirit named Chiranosuke takes him in hand and spells out the rule he now lives by: if Yuuta sees a girl's underwear twice in a row, a meteor wipes out the planet.
