High-schooler Mai Taniyama breaks an expensive camera while sneaking around her school's haunted Old Building and is drafted into Shibuya Psychic Research to work off the debt. The agency belongs to Kazuya Shibuya, a deadpan teenage genius she nicknames Naru for his self-absorption. For each case he brings in a Buddhist monk, a Shinto miko, a celebrity teen medium and a Catholic priest, every one of them working in a different discipline. As they investigate the school, Mai's own latent ESP starts surfacing in vivid dreams.
