Amu Hinamori is a grade-schooler her classmates call 'cool and spicy,' a front that hides how shy she is. One morning she wakes to three colorful eggs that hatch into Guardian Characters named Ran, Miki, and Su, each drawing out a self she wishes she could be. The school's Guardians recruit her as the Joker, charged with tracking down X Eggs, the corrupted dreams of other students. Behind that hunt stands the Easter company, searching for a wish-granting egg called the Embryo.
