Synopsis
Teito Klein, an amnesiac former slave gifted with the rare power Zaiphon, trains at the Barsburg Empire's military academy alongside his only friend, Mikage. When a stray memory reveals that Chief of Staff Ayanami killed the king of the destroyed Raggs Kingdom, Teito is imprisoned and flees to the Barsburg Church, where bishops including Frau take him in. There he learns he carries the Eye of Mikhail, the relic for which his homeland was razed, and becomes a target of the empire and the soul-hunting Kor alike.
