Synopsis
In a sun-baked, Brazil-inspired country, fugitive Michiko Malandro breaks out of prison and snatches a mistreated girl named Hana Morenos from her abusive foster family, nicknaming her Hatchin. Michiko claims the girl is the daughter of Hiroshi Morenos, the man she once loved and believes is still alive. The mismatched pair take to the road together, chasing leads on Hiroshi while the police and Hatchin's old guardians close in behind them.
