Synopsis
Life rolls on in Asahigaoka, a rural hamlet whose only school is a single classroom holding five students. This second season revisits the same year as the first, filling in days it skipped as first-grader Renge, sisters Komari and Natsumi, and Tokyo transplant Hotaru ease through the slow seasons of the countryside. It opens with Renge seeing her older sister Hikage off to high school in the city before starting her own first day of class.
