Decades after an enemy called the Unknown drove humanity underground, children placed in cold sleep wake with powers known as World and are tasked with holding the line at the Tokyo Bay gate. Ichiya Suzaku defends Tokyo, while Kanagawa is led by the proud, gun-toting Maihime Tenkawa and her sharp-eyed second, Hotaru Rindo. Their cities are supposed to fight as one front, but rivalries and pride keep the young defenders from trusting each other as the Unknown press in from the bay.
