Synopsis
Ash Ketchum arrives in the Hoenn region with Brock and two new companions: May, a rookie trainer who discovers Pokémon Contests and sets out to become a Coordinator, and her younger brother Max. As Ash chases the region's eight Gym badges and a shot at its League, May trains her Pokémon for the beauty-focused Contests and the Grand Festival. Across Hoenn, the rival teams Aqua and Magma pursue clashing schemes to reshape the world's seas and land.
