Set in the summer before the television series, this bonus episode follows Mei Misaki and her twin sister Misaki Fujioka, raised in separate households, through the last days of the school break in Yomiyama. The two wander a heat-worn town together, from a shopping center to a shooting stall to an amusement park, while Mei talks about the class she is about to join and the rumor that it is cursed. It shipped with volume 0 of Hiro Kiyohara's manga adaptation and is a companion piece, not an entry point.
