Synopsis
Nanako Yukishiro never speaks aloud; she writes everything down as senryū, short 5-7-5 poems on slips of paper. At high school she joins the Literature Club alongside Eiji Busujima, a glaring ex-delinquent who answers her in clumsy verse of his own. Nanako nurses a crush on Eiji and keeps trying to get it across, while their club president eagerly spies on the pair and classmates like the picture-drawing Kino round out their quiet circle.
