In the city of Tachikawa, a hidden team called the Gatchaman protects civilians by transforming through reinforced NOTE suits powered by their inner force. Their newest recruit, the irrepressible high-schooler Hajime Ichinose, approaches threats with curiosity rather than violence, even when the team confronts the alien MESS and the shapeshifting Berg-Katze. Meanwhile Rui Ninomiya runs GALAX, a social platform whose CROWDS system mobilizes ordinary users to handle crises, raising the question of who really keeps a city safe.
