At Honan Academy, first-years Takeru Fujiwara and Nana Sakurai are trying to revive the school's club for Stride, a relay sport in which a team of runners races through town streets while a relationer coordinates them. Short the members they need, they pressure the reluctant Riku Yagami to join despite his natural talent for it. Together the club sets its sights on End of Summer, eastern Japan's top Stride competition.
