Synopsis
Kazuki Muto dies trying to save a girl from a monster, only to wake with a metal device called a Kakugane in place of his heart. The girl, alchemic warrior Tokiko Tsumura, implanted it to revive him; now it lets him manifest a spear-shaped weapon, the Buso Renkin, to fight the human-eating homunculi she hunts. Kazuki joins Tokiko's battle, his easygoing heroism setting him against the creatures stalking Ginsei City.
