In a dying world where robots once subjugated humanity, the warrior Casshern wakes with no memory of having killed Luna, the girl whose death triggered the Ruin — a slow collapse that leaves robots and humans alike rusting and fading. Able to regenerate from any wound, Casshern wanders a poisoned wasteland where surviving machines believe that devouring his body will cure their decay. He searches for who he was and why everything is ending.
