Synopsis
In this second season, magical girl Illyasviel von Einzbern settles back into school life with Miyu Edelfelt after the rush of collecting the Class Cards, until the mages Rin and Luvia bring the two girls along to reseal the unstable ley lines. The ritual goes wrong and splits Illya into two, conjuring a dark counterpart named Kuro who shares her face and turns the magical-girl routine into a personal confrontation. The season leans into everyday school comedy between bursts of card-driven combat.
