Rikuo Nura, the part-yokai boy set to lead the Nura Clan, learns that Hagoromo-Gitsune—a yokai his grandfather once sealed away—has resurfaced in Kyoto. This second season picks up as the old enemy's return casts doubt on whether Rikuo can command the clan, prompting him to seek out the yokai of Tono Village to grow stronger. Allying with the onmyoji of the Keikain house, Rikuo prepares to face Hagoromo-Gitsune and the threat she poses to the ancient capital.
