Synopsis
Two stories run in parallel across ef - a tale of melodies. In the past, Yu Himura reunites with Yuko Amamiya, who tells him he was her first love and still is, though her circumstances have grown painful. In the present, just after the events of ef - a tale of memories, Shuichi Kuze grows close to Mizuki Hayama while privately carrying a fatal illness he keeps from her. This second season shifts focus to figures who lingered at the edges of the first.
