Synopsis
A thousand years after Earth's core failed, the planet runs on vast gears built by a legendary engineer known as Y. Naoto Miura, a high schooler in Grid Kyoto with abnormally sharp hearing, has a crate crash into his apartment carrying RyuZU, an automaton from Y's Initial-Y Series that has been silent for two centuries. Naoto fixes her by ear alone, and her loyalty draws him into the orbit of master clocksmith Marie Bell Breguet and the failing Core Tower that keeps his city alive.
