Synopsis
In the small Kyushu town of Suiten, fourteen-year-old Tarou Komori still suffers nightmares and out-of-body episodes years after he and his sister were abducted and only he came back. He falls in with two other boys carrying their own childhood traumas, Makoto and Masayuki, and together they find they can cross into a parallel "Unseen World" that ordinary people cannot reach. As the boundary between that realm and Suiten weakens, the three begin investigating the strange phenomena spreading through the town. Production I.G built this series around concepts from Masamune Shirow.
