Kazuya Kinoshita decides to crowdfund an independent film starring Chizuru Ichinose, his rental girlfriend turned real crush, so her dying grandmother Sayuri can see her perform on screen. With neighbor Mini Yaemori handling promotion and logistics, Kazuya pours himself into scriptwriting and production while navigating his tangled obligations to Ruka Sarashina, who still claims to be his girlfriend. This third season covers the movie-production arc, centering on whether Kazuya can finish the film before Sayuri's health runs out.
