Transfer student Nagisa Aoi arrives at St. Miator's Girls' Academy, one of three all-girls schools sharing the hilltop campus of Astraea Hill. Lost on her first day, she runs into Shizuma Hanazono, the academy's Étoile and a revered figure across all three schools, and finds herself unsettled in the older girl's presence. As Nagisa settles into dorm life, her bond with Shizuma deepens against the backdrop of the schools' rivalries and the contest for the Étoile title.
