Yui Kusanagi, daughter of a Shinto shrine priest, draws a mysterious sword and is pulled into a self-contained academy built by Zeus. There she is charged with teaching a class of detached young gods what human emotion and love mean; her students include the sun god Apollon, the underworld's Hades, and the moon deity Tsukito. Until they learn, none of them, Yui included, can leave the school grounds.
